“Where you are from shouldn’t limit your dreams and ambition as an artist. You would be surprised where your art or talent will take you.”

My Story…

An independent hiphop, RnB and afrobeat artist. My Story is that of passion, ambition and belief. I was born in Accra, Ghana, my dad’s only son back then. Growing up I watched him work hard and strive to give me the best in life. Though we didn’t have much he always made sure I was OK.
I took an interest an music the very moment I watched a video of Michael Jackson live in Concert. So moved and fascinated, I started dancing and singing to MJ’s songs. I was about 11 years old back then but it was only a few years after that I begun to show a major interest in  music.
Bishop Herman College (my high school) began it all. During this time, I was heavily influenced by Hiphop, and started writing and performing under 2pac’s alias Makaveli. After graduation I moved to London, UK, and meeting a producer called Ren was when my music career started.
Having that passion, ambition and desire, in 2007 I released my first mixtape – Versatility. I started creating a buzz and a name for my self and gradually building a fan base. In 2013 I released my second project STILL @ IT. This opened a few doors for me and gave me the opportunity to work with some some super talented producers in the game.
I’m currently working on an EP and also on my debut afrobeat Album titled SANKOFA with second single AKWELE out on the 10th of June 2016.
It’s really been a long journey with ups and downs. The love and passion I have for this art drives me on and has got me more ambitious than I ever was.

My Message…

The message is simple, from an artistic point of view. Do what you love doing.  Enjoy being creative. Stay committed and true to your art. Where you are from shouldn’t limit your dreams and ambition as an artist. You would be surprised where your art or talent will take you.
